The Investment Advisory Panel provides advice to the Strathclyde Pension Fund Committee. Much of the investment monitoring is carried out by the Investment Advisory Panel on behalf of the committee.
Who’s on the panel?
The panel consists of:
- three independent advisors;
- a representative from the Fund’s investment consultants and actuary;
- Director of Financial Services, GCC, Lynn Brown;
- Head of Pensions, Richard McIndoe;
- Chief Pensions Officer (Investments), Jacqueline Gillies;
- Investment Manager, Richard Keery.
If they wish, members of the committee can attend meetings as observers.
The Investment Advisory Panel meets quarterly and produces a report to the committee. The latest is 10 and 11 November 2011 .
