Strathclyde Pension Fund Representative Forum

The Strathclyde Pension Fund Representative Forum brings together all of the Fund’s main stakeholder groups, including employers and trade unions.

Every three months the Forum meets formally to discuss the management of the Fund and wider pension issues.

If you’d like to find out how and why we choose the representatives we do, visit the policy on representation page of this site.

The pensioner representative

A key member of the Forum is the pensioner representative, who represents the Fund’s 59,000 pensioners.

David Thompson retired from a career as a chartered certified accountant in 2004, having been a member of the Fund for over 25 years. He was appointed pensioner representative in 2005, chosen from a strong group of volunteers.

If you’re a pensioner and have issues you’d like to raise at the Forum, David can be contacted through the Strathclyde Pension Fund Office team. Contact us via this site.
