Annual benefit statements, Fundnews and Pensionnews…

Our 83,000 members who are still working in local government are about to be mailed with their annual benefit statements.


A leaflet about the new Local Government Pension Scheme that is being introduced on 1 April 2009 will go out with every statement. The leaflet is on display in the "new LGPS" area of this site that can be reached from this site's homepage.


December is going to be a very busy month for the Strathclyde Pension Fund Office, as we are issuing five major member communications:
· 3 phases of statements of about 30,000 each;
· Fundnews 2008, our annual newsletter for active members, and
· Pensionnews 2008, our annual newsletter for our pensioners.

If you haven’t received your statement, Fundnews or Pensionnews by 5 January 2009, you can view the newsletters by clicking on the links above. If you want to contact us, just click on the second left button at the top right of each page on this website.

It could be that we do not hold an address for you, or we have an incorrect one for you.

If you have questions about any of the communications, please bear in mind that the Strathclyde Pension Fund Office will be closed from Dec 25 2008 to 4 January 2009 inclusive.
