Draft Funding Strategy Statement

Regulation 75A of the Local Government Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations 1998 was introduced in 2005 and requires each administering authority, after consultation with such persons as they consider appropriate, to prepare, maintain and publish a written statement setting out their funding strategy.

The Strathclyde Pension Fund’s first such statement was published in March 2006 in conjunction with the results of the 2005 actuarial valuation of the Fund.

On 10th December 2008 a revised draft statement was approved by the Strathclyde Pension Fund Committee for consultation with interested parties.
