Welcome to our benefit calculator.
It is designed to give you guidance about the annual pension and lump sum you may be entitled to at 65, based on how long you will have been paying into the Fund and your current full time equivalent salary.
All membership accrued up to 31st March 2009 will be at 1/80th plus 3/80th lump sum. After 31st March 2009 it will accrue at a 1/60th with no automatic lump sum.
It shows the estimated standard benefits package and the maximum lump sum package, but you can choose anything in between.
Please note that it takes no account of any reductions that would apply for taking your benefits earlier than 65. For example taking benefits five years early could reduce your pension by about a quarter and your lump sum by 12%.
As individual circumstances, such as protection under the Rule of 85, differ immensely, the estimated figures can only be used as a rough guide.
If you are paying extra through an “added years’ contract” or if you are paying ARCs, additional regular contributions, these will not be taken into account by the calculator.
At your request we are happy to prepare a complete profile of your pension, tailored to your personal details.
