Welcome to our ARC, additional regular contributions, calculator.
If your birthday is in the same month as today's date, please make yourself a month older when entering your date of birth above, as an ARC contract takes a little time to start up.
In an ARC contract, you can pay extra contributions each month for your chosen number of full years to buy extra pension.
You can buy extra annual pension in multiples of £250 up to a maximum of £5,000 (in total for those with more than one employment).
You can provide a pension for yourself. Or you can provide one for yourself and on your death your spouse, civil partner, nominated cohabiting partner or child.
ARCs will be deducted from your pay. They must be paid over a whole number of years and must cease before age 65. They can commence at any time of year and you may have more than one contract.
Contracts may be deemed to be paid in full if you are retired on grounds of ill-health or die in service.
A medical certificate that will cost you at least £60 must be completed evidencing that you are in 'reasonably good health' before you can pay ARCs.
The cost of ARCs is based on your age, gender, the payment period and whether or not you choose to provide for dependants' benefits. You should be aware that the cost is not guaranteed to remain the same if there are significant changes in mortality, morbidity or inflation.
